Cathedral Justice Project at The Beacon

Cathedral Justice Project at The Beacon provides pro bono legal assistance. We advocate for the homeless community before government agencies and courts of law, helping to resolve legal issues, and connecting homeless individuals with the resources that exist to help the poor.

Often, unresolved legal issues stand in the way of access to government benefits
or potential employment. Volunteer lawyers, paralegals and law students all donate their time to help the staff provide a voice for Houston’s homeless.

In 2012, Cathedral Justice Project at The Beacon resolved 650 cases.

The Cathedral Justice Project Offices are open Monday- Friday, by appointment only.
Call 713-220-9780 for an appointment.
